​Behind the Lens

Art has always been a portal to different worlds, some of which I created in my head, others developed from the world around me.  It has also provided a great balance in my life.

Photography, for me, is the perfect blend of artistic and technical skills.  My venture into the craft started with a polaroid camera, graduated to film, and has steadily grown with the digital age.  It allows me to see the world around us, not just looking through a lens.

I enjoy finding characters and capturing a candid scene in their personal drama.  Mood, emotion, sometimes even movement frozen for a split second can tell the story of an entire lifetime.
